Jake Lee is a professional jazz trumpet player and educator based in New York City. A three-time DownBeat Student Award winner, Jake was a semi-finalist in both the International Trumpet Guild Competition (2023) and the National Trumpet Competition (2025), and was selected for the prestigious Jazz Band of America in 2019. 

Jake has performed at the Detroit Jazz Festival and Blue Llama Jazz Club, and has shared the stage or recorded with notable artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Rodney Whitaker, Ashlin Parker, and Steve Wilson.  He is committed to serving the music and sharing the beauty of jazz music with the world.
